How does it work?
A combination of FROG minerals (silver) + SmartChlor gives you cleaner, softer water and use less chlorine.
The system self regulates based on how much sanitation the tub needs – if you are using the tub a lot, it will release more chlorine into your water.
You need to set the dial to what your bathing load will be on the chlorine and mineral cartridges and put them into holder that is integrated right on your bartop. The cartridges will then slowly release the chlorine and minerals automatically when the tub is being used.
Another benefit of the FROG @ease is that you only need to maintain a free chlorine level of 0.5-1.0 ppm (rather than 2-5 ppm as suggested in a standard chlorine hot tub) so your water is softer, does not smell like chemicals and you don’t have to worry about your swimsuits being damage
There’s no need to remember to add sanitizer after each use, so your tub will always be fresh and clean.
Your mineral cartridge will last you up to 4 months. The chlorine cartridge will last up to four weeks. You will still need to shock your tub once a month when you are replacing your chlorine cartridge. If you are using an ozone system, you would need to shock your tub once a week.
